InduCult2.0 – The Idea of Living Industrial Culture in Central Europe

The district of Zwickau commissioned the Office for Urban Transitional Spaces in 2016 with the conceptual and organizational support of the project InduCult2.0 (within the cooperation program Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE). Besides personnel support, this includes moderation services and the planning of measures like workshops and citizen participation as well as their realization and evaluation.

The three main topics of the project are:
– “Living industrial culture” as regional identity and touristic profile
– “Living industrial culture” to ensure and retain the loyalty of companies and labour
– Support of a culture of creativity and innovation in the context of industrial heritage

The outcome of this intensive cooperation is the Regional Argumentation Paper (click here), which was published in Summer 2017 and the Strategy Paper (expected to be published at the End of 2018) and three Regional Action Plans on the main topics of the project (expected to be published in Autumn 2018).
